Vacuum Press
This machine uses a vacuum pump to remove air from underneath a stretchable membrane, creating negative pressure, which is then used to manipulate material in various ways. The uniform pressure eliminates inconsistencies in production creating smooth, predictable results.
Heating and Forming
This process can be used to create three-dimensional forms from thermoplastics and solid surfaces materials by a process known as ‘thermoforming’. This involves heating the material to the point where its’ plasticity changes, allowing the material to be pressed and moulded over a form. Once cooled, the material has retained the shape of the form.
Surface Bonding
Allows us to laminate panels of plywood or chipboard with custom colours of Laminate (Egger/Formica). This method ensures a smooth surface, with no air pockets, as well as a deep adhesion and strong bond between surface and substrate.
